In mid-January 2000, the Diocese of Virginia established an interest-bearing Fund for the Task Force on Planting a New Hispanic Congregation. This fund has already received or been pledged gifts of over $52,000, including gifts from two Hispanic congregations and three non-Hispanic congregations.
